About the position
REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN
WEST COAST
Manufacturing
Qualifications:
- Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic
- N4 Minimum
Experience:
- 4 years experience gained with in a HVAC (Ammonia Refrigeration) Manufacturing plant working with HVAC systems
- Fault finding and troubleshooting of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Experience in a FMCG production facility
- Relevant ammonia experience in production environment is essential
Duties
- Service, maintenance and installation of industrial and Refrigeration equipment
- Fault Finding and maintenance on fast moving refrigeration equipment
- Breakdowns
- New Installations
- Health and Safety
- Quality Control
Other Qualities:
- Able to communicate in English and Afrikaans
- Must be customer and goal focussed and be able to follow through on tasks without the need for micro management
- Must be competent in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Proficient in the use of email
- Must be capable of self-management
